Its now “legal” because they want the transfer of bitcoin to become a taxable event even though it classed as “non money”, so every transaction in BTC you make you have to convert an extra 33% to fiat to pay the NZ tax department

Too bad. Legal – means controlled and regulated by the central authority. Like they ever could really forbid to use it and make it illegal.

can the government know I have bitcoin?

If I have transacted in my countries p2p website and in future let’s say my country bans and ask me that tell us how much bitcoin I have, cant I just tell them to fuck off and that my bitcoin are lost ?

well thats good to hear, and i hope they also accept newer coins like @telecoins to be accepted as well. cause i am not going to buy coins that cost like 8k,9k and be insecure when i am doing transactions, i trust telecoin cause they use Masternodes are incentivized nodes that receive rewards based on their availability and their ability to offer network services in a decentralized and trust-less manner. Running a Master Node requires 10,000 TeleCoin collateral, for as long as you choose to run the Master Node and allows the owner to vote on budget and development proposals.

We need to hear more positives from countries like Russia, US or China. At this stage all we get is good to feed only some birth. We need solid updates something like BTC legal tender in China, or possibility to open banking crypto current account in EU or why not ETF approval . That’s what I would call solid news. For now I don’t see many of these.
